My good friend's father died today. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease early December. Four months later and he is gone. I can't even begin to imagine how hard that must be. She is only 2 years older than me. I feel so sorry and so sad for her and her family. I feel completely helpless. I don't really know how I could possibly help, especially so far away.
